Macdonald Youth Services Emergency Shelter and Youth Resource Centre

This is a safe place for youth.

  • Walk-in access available 24/7 at 159 Mayfair Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0A1

  • Offers a warm bed, food, showers, and counselling

  • Trained staff are available to listen and support youth through their situation, advocate for them, and provide referrals as required

Main Street Project

The Main Street Project operates a housing first model.

  • Emergency Shelter located at 190 Disraeli Freeway, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2Z4. Open from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. Contact the Emergency Shelter at 204-982-8267.

  • Access food and water; showers, clothing, phones, washrooms; Case Workers; and medical support

  • Protective care for intoxicated individuals is available

Willow Place

Willow Place offers emergency shelter for women and children experiencing family violence situations

Learn how to identify and manage your stressors with this app that explores the topic of stress.
